Light restoration child placing agency

Light Restoration Child Placing Agency offers programs that provides youth the stability, structure, education, exposure, and opportunities that will help them make informed choices about their adult lifestyle and future. Depending upon the goals of placement, children come to Light Restoration Child Placing Agency for short or long periods of time while their familiar circumstances are readied for their return or an alternative setting can be found.
Our deep and abiding concern for the health and well-being of youth is demonstrated by the quality of our programs. Our programs are structured so as to provide children a safe, secure place to grow and develop. All of the services provided by Light Restoration Child Placing Agency are valued based. This means that we encourage youth to go beyond the surface and dive into their feelings and problems with an effort to instill ideas, strategies and decision-making skills which are based on the ideas of integrity, honesty and respect for self and others. We strive for youth to set high personal standards for themselves and to develop goals that are realistic and attainable.

Our Foster Care Process

Foster parents must be at least 21 years old, have a clean criminal record, and be in excellent physical health. Our most effective foster parents are open-minded, trustworthy, patient, and prepared to experiment with various parenting approaches for children with varying needs. Having a flexible schedule, being accommodating, and exhibiting the capacity to work as a team member are all essential attributes for success.

The process of becoming a Light Accommodation Foundation foster parent entails five or six visits to your house over the course of 10 to 12 weeks. During these visits, Light Accommodation workers gather documentation, interview all family members, check the house for safety, and thoroughly explain the duties of foster care. Prior to approval, in-office or at-home training is necessary. Our joint screening procedure assists both parties in determining whether foster parenting is suitable for you and the qualities of children who will best match your family’s lifestyle and aptitude.
